Typology Forum

I realize this is an extremely small sample of the great LDS architecture in Utah. However a large frustration in trying to document an extensive typology of LDS architecture is the lack of location information available.

A complete list of temples in Utah is easily acquired; however this seems to be the extent of the information readily available.

Having had a large response to the open forum of the Utah Map Project I have decided to extend the idea to this typology section and enlist the help of anyone willing to steer me in the direction of interesting LDS architecture. I am most interested in information on the locations of tabernacles and remarkable churches; however any information on unique Utah LDS architecture would be greatly appreciated. The location information need not be precise just a city and street name.

I am also happy to share all the information on this typology with anyone interested. The information will be available as a free downloadable zip file with desktop images of each building, a map with each buildings location, and a pdf file with the building’s location information. I will update you as often as necessary to keep everyone current on this typology.

As always I will not share your email information with anyone, and as with the open forum, I appreciate your help gathering information and ideas for the Utah Map Project.
